Introduction


The business has been one of the most flourishing streams of income in India. Thousands of people are taking up business as their source of income. Being a business-oriented country, the pressure on the requirement of employees is also persistent. For which suitable knowledge is required as the business society is evolving every single day. For obtaining knowledge in business administration, the Bachelor of Business Administration is the most competent course. Bachelor of Business Administration which is also known as BBA. BBA is a 3-years undergraduate course to be taken up after completion of class 12. This course enables you to obtain each business skills required like finance, marketing, human resource management, etc. It is also compatible with encompassing your own business.


Eligibility


Students are eligible to apply for this course if they fulfil the following criteria. 


  • The applicant should have completed class 12th irrespective of his/her stream of study.
  • The applicant should attain a minimum score of 50% in class 12th.
  • An applicant can apply for the course also if he/she has appeared the examination of class 12th. 


Entrance Examination


For applying for admission in most of the college for the BBA course, one of the essential and foremost eligibility is passing in the respective entrance examination with respected marks. There are various entrance examinations held every year in India. Some of these examinations will be explained in the illustration below.

DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test)

This test is conducted for applicants seeking admission to any undergraduate course in Delhi University.

  • 35% of class 12 result
  • 65% of the written exam
  • Class 12 cleared/appeared
  • Must secure at least 60% in four papers in which English is mandatory

IPU CET ( Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test)

This test is carried for students applying to Indraprastha University for over 60 undergraduate, postgraduate also research courses.

Written exam accompanied by counselling

  • Class 12 cleared/appeared
  • Must be passed in English and secure aggregate of 50%

NPAT

It is a test organized for students applying for any undergraduate and postgraduate courses in any college affiliated to NMIMS.

According to performance in the entrance exam

  • Class 12 cleared/appeared in 1st attempt
  • Must secure an aggregate of 60%
  • The age limit is restricted to 25 years.

SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test)

Symbiosis International University is responsible for organizing this test for students applying for undergraduate courses in the streams of Law, General, Design, Engineering as well as Health Sciences.

  • 50% of the written exam
  • 50% of GD/PI/WAT

  • Must secure at least 50% aggregate
