Introduction

If yes, then you should go for a Diploma in Physiotherapy. Diploma in Physiotherapy, popularly known as DPT, is a three-year diploma course. It is associated with the theoretical and practical studies of physiotherapy. This course brings up a maximum performance of human movement enabling the patient to make their physical dilemmas to flew away or restrict it from entering our body through physical gestures. A therapist solves all the uneven problems in our body with a DPT degree. People with this degree are eligible to work in hospitals, health centres, private practices, sports clubs, etc. 


Eligibility

Requirements asked by various colleges is a necessary process as it determines whether a student is eligible for the course or not. So this course also has a specific set of criteria stating your eligibility score. This set of rules is standard in most of the colleges, but it may vary from college to college. 


  • An applicant must have qualified the 10+2 level of study in the stream of science subject from a recognized board. 
  • According to many colleges, an applicant must score at least 45% in aggregate if applying from general quota and 40% in aggregate if applying from SC/ST/OBC quota.

Entrance Examination 

Along with the eligibility list, some institutes also ask for entrance examination result as it tests our preparedness. Although entrance examination is not mandatory, it depends upon institutes whether to request for giving such review.
