Introduction

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, also known as B.Sc Chemistry, is a 3-year long undergraduate course. It involves the study of Chemistry on an advanced level. All the chemical processes and essential topics are covered in this course. Students having an interest in Chemistry and are willing to take it as a career can pursue this course. 

The average fee charged by most institutes for offering this course ranges between ₹10,000 - ₹1,50,000. After pursuing this course, the degree holders get a choice of either studying further in the same field or obtain a job. They can be employed at the post of Technical Writer or Lab Assistant or such depending upon their wish. The starting pay of B.Sc in Chemistry degree holder can be anywhere between ₹2,00,000 - ₹8,00,000 per annum.


Eligibility

A candidate must fulfil a set of conditions set by institutes to get admission in one. The requirements might vary from institute to institute but given below are the standard conditions demanded in most institutes. 

  • Candidate must have completed 10+2 educational level in Science discipline from a recognised institute or educational board. 
  • Chemistry should be one of the primary subjects in 10+2 level.
