How China Prospered Internationally?

Introduction

China has become a superpower nation worldwide in only around 40 years. It has developed both socially and financially in these years even after having the most populated country in the world. You might have wondered that India is second on the list of the most populated country which means it has similar problems to China although China is way ahead of us. The question is why? This is due to some great ideas adapted by China and some tricks. In this article, I will explain to you about those ideas and tricks and how India can adapt these ideas for social and financial enhancement.

China's Growing Strategy

Here, I will explain to you three strategies used by China which we can also use for development.

  1. Skilled Labour - You might know the concept of skilled and unskilled labour. As a matter of fact, the value of skilled labour is always more than that of unskilled labour and China knew about it. So they began with vocational training at all levels of education even while you are working in an organisation. Vocational training is also known as practical training where the trainees are encountered with real-life experience. This even helps an uneducated person to gain practical knowledge about the topic and can solve tricky problems with those skills.
  2. Cluster Development - While producing a product, the manufacturer needs various ingredients for which they have to roam around in various places. This can waste both times as well as money and so looking to it, China creates Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in major as well as small cities. This helps both large scale and small scale businesses to grow in no time with less expense.
  3. Migration Control - Migration is common in all countries. Students migrate for education and people migrate for job opportunities. They generally prefer to move to bigger cities due to some belief that developed cities can help you grow in a limited period. Migration is not wrong unless it is under control. So China began with the Hukou system which says that if you leave your birth area and go to another area then you will get derived from some free benefits. They imposed this system and encouraged people to develop local business and helped them in setting up the business by providing various benefits. This way migration was in control and employment was taken care of.

Dumping

China is using this trick for several years in various countries for acquiring their market. They analyse the market needs of a country or a region like knowing the preferences of people by conducting various surveys. Then they pick out a few sectors where they can prosper easily and produce a large number of products and send them in that region. The quantity can be even more than the total population of that region. You might be wondering that oversupplying a new product in a market is harmful to the business as if not sold as calculated, this asset will become the company's liabilities and increase financial pressure on the company. But China has managed a way out in such a problem. They drop the price of the products and attract customers. Due to this various local manufacturers are forced to either take a break from that product or shut down their business. After this, China gets a freeway in the market and due to less or no competitors in the market they start selling the products at twice and thrice its price.

Conclusion

India has similar problems to China like excess population but still, China managed its way out of the problems and so India should because if not now then we will not be able to overcome the problems. We must restrict China from playing such tricks on us by boycotting Chinese goods entirely. Sonam Wangchuk an Indian Engineer recently uploaded a video explaining everything about Indo-China Trade war and asking Indian people to delete the Chinese software and hardware as soon as possible.
