"Sanskar” Sevabhavi Sanstha founded and headed by Shri. Sanjay Kelkar Ji is working tirelessly for last 25 years in multiple dimensions of educational, health and social work. Brief about some of the works are -

Education

We at Sanskar believes that Education is the birthright of every human being and society shall continually strive to accomplish the target of 100% literacy. We have distributed number of computers to needy tribal students in rural part of Konkan who cannot afford to purchase one for themselves. We also have distributed free internet pack for number of students across Thane district to make sure that they avail online education facility all the time in their hand. We even repaired many school buildings in tribal areas of Konkan with no infra facilities after last year’s cyclone so that educational activities remain uninterrupted.

All above are some of the initiatives that Sanskar have started, and we will continue to fulfil our responsibility towards our society with the same level of integrity in future.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We believe that every hurdle is the opportunity to prove yourselves better than yesterday. In this worldwide pandemic situation we are fighting for our lives today. All of us are trying to become more sustainable in terms of healthcare facilities. While tackling the danger of covid we all have accepted to stay at home as the best defence against this evil.

While taking care of our present scenario we have endangered our future unknowingly. For more than 18 months all the schools & collages are closed resulting lack of quality education to students who are the bright future of our nation. These students are losing on most valuable years of their lives without quality education facility. Even though all the schools have been asked by authorities to start the online education we can see that not all the schools or all parts of the state are well equipped in terms of technology and human resource to deliver the desired results of quality education.

Many students who don’t have proper coaching are missing on important concepts and which is the base for their future education. Taking into consideration Third wave of Covid and specially its impact on population below 18 we came up with idea of providing free quality online education to all students of grade 1st to 10th of Maharashtra State Board for Marathi, English and Semi-English medium. Along with these 11th and 12th commerce will be covered. For students of science faculty, we have observed that they give more importance to the entrance exams after 12th be it of Engineering or Medical. We have arranged guidance lecture for such students who are preparing for IIT entrance, JEE Entrance and Medical Entrance. We at Sanskar always think of “ANTYODAY” and making students “AATMANIRBHAR” for their future. We have kept ambitious target of reaching 5000 students in Thane. We are certain that this aid of quality education will equip students to achieve their future targets.
