The fact that superheroes are relatable is one of the things that makes them so appealing. Only a few superhero comic books will reveal themes of discrimination, redemption, hopelessness, solitude, victory, and loss – all traits and feats that we, as readers, have experienced at some point in our lives. Life can be difficult at times, and we can draw inspiration from our comic book friends during these trying times. Marvel and DC have built whole cinematic universes which are full of colourful, yet powerful characters that can serve as ethical role models for people of all ages.
We must all embrace the heroes' inspiration of fighting for what is truly theirs and standing up for what they believe in. The Marvel and DC superheroes exemplify peace, hard work, and perseverance. Here are some useful lessons learned from them.
Anyone can be a Hero – Batman
It's no secret that Batman has had his fair share of difficulties throughout his life. Many people may identify with both his losses (losing his family at an early age) and his successes. But one of the most intriguing aspects of the character is that he possesses no inherent superhuman abilities. Batman demonstrates that anyone can be a hero if they put up the effort and stand up to corruption and injustice. For the most part, Batman is a regular guy with some martial arts skills and a sharp mind. It's no surprise that The Cape Crusader remains one of the most popular comic book characters in the world.
With great Power comes great Responsibility – Spiderman
Who can forget Uncle Ben's over-quoted words as he lay dying? "A tremendous deal of power comes with a great deal of responsibility." These are the words of wisdom that Spidey lives by — his creed. As we gain power, we will be able to make decisions that will alter the world in which we live. They might be egotistical and short-sighted at times. Great world leaders, on the other hand, understand that duty necessitates the polar opposite - kindness and thoughtfulness. Whatever occurs in Spider-life, Man's he remains modest and follows his uncle's advice.
You will never walk alone – Superman
How many of us have felt alone, isolated, or different at some point in our lives? Despite his belief that he is the universe's sole remaining Kryptonian, orphaned Clark Kent finds strength in the company of his family, friends, and, eventually, his love interest, Lois Lane. Despite feeling dejected, weak, and despised, Superman shows us that we are never completely alone or isolated. Superman feels a sense of belonging to a greater group when he saves and helps others. Even when he flies off to his Fortress of Solitude to be alone, he can seek advice and inspiration from Jor'el. "My little Kal-El, you'll go a long way." But we will never leave you… even in the face of our death.”
In Unity, there is Strength - Avengers
The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy are well-known teams with remarkable coordination. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, this strong bond is a prominent theme. Without Thor or Black Widow, the Avengers would be incomplete. Despite the fact that they have diverse abilities and strengths and limitations, they are both critical to the team's success. Their teamwork shows us the value of everyone on the team, whether it's in the office, on the sports field, or in our own families. We should operate in sync, just like the superheroes do, to achieve a noble aim.
Always keep an optimistic attitude - Avengers
Instead of love, the world is always filled of negativity. You can watch a Marvel movie, such as Avengers, and find it boring. However, if you look closely enough, you'll notice that each performer is amusing in his own way. Thor, Loki, and Steve aren't particularly amusing, yet Tony Stark's sense of humour goes unnoticed. There will never be a shortage of problems in life, from difficult economic times to rising cancer rates and even the unstoppable spread of the pandemic. Despite this, there is always a cause to remain cheerful. You should enjoy your victories, great or small, and live life with love.
