Movies have been an evergreen form of art and have been celebrated and discussed over the years, ever since humankind explored the different horizons of cinematography and direction. For many reasons, the finest inspirational films create an indelible impression on the audience. It may have been a sentence from a motivational movie or the whole plot. In truth, they are films that will alter your life or open your eyes to new possibilities. There's always a reason why people watch these movies.
Several of the finest inspirational films have come from Hollywood. Some have become cult classics, while others have been nominated for and won Oscars. Here are some hand-picked films you may not have watched before, as well as ones that may have slipped from your mind, in an attempt to keep this list from being cliché. As a result, certain well-known films, such as Schindler's List and Forrest Gump, are not included below. Hopefully, the outstanding films on offer will compensate!
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
The Shawshank Redemption chronicles the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who served a 19-year jail sentence. Andy Dufresne, a prosperous banker, is arrested and condemned to life in prison in the Shawshank prison for the deaths of his wife and her lover. He develops into the most unusual prisoner. The film sends a strong message of brotherhood and resilience while also giving us a glimpse into the lives of the people at Shawshank. The film not only ends with Andy's innocent escape, but also with his comrade Red's redemption, making it an inspirational story of hope, faith, and friendship.
The Green Mile (1999)
Despite having walked the mile with a lot of criminals, Paul was persuaded of John Coffey's innocence. Coffey has a remarkable supernatural gift in addition to his foolish dread of the dark. The engrossing plot of deciding between doing the right thing and doing one's duty is also infused with feelings of camaraderie and empathy. It is a beautiful piece of art that portrays a common situation of disparity and the cloudiness of the mind.
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
The Pursuit of Happiness is an inspiring story of a father's fight to build a happy future for his son. While the film focuses on the father-son relationship, it also conveys the idea of never giving up. As a result of being evicted from their house and facing financial issues, both father and son confront several challenges on a daily basis. Nonetheless, the film's joyful plot is based on the small moments of enjoyment they find in their relationship.
Life of Pi (2012)
Pi finds himself in the middle of the ocean with a tiger, a hyena, and an orangutan after being the ship's sole human survivor while travelling to Canada. Pi's challenges and exploits, combined with the film's remarkable depiction of nature, make the film not only motivating but also visually stunning. A list of inspirational movies would be incomplete without this feature since it motivates a person to overcome the challenges in life and lead it like an adventure.
The Blind Side (2009)
Who said family bonds have to be founded just on blood ties? The Tuohys had no idea how much Micheal, a homeless black kid, would transform his life and theirs when they brought him home. The film sends out the idea of giving without expecting anything in return, and it's a heart-warming picture that leaves its audience motivated and happy.
Good keep it up 👍
